"I had to leave for a good reason and I understand the company had to continue without me."

"To continue to look for the best in the current teams that are there. I feel we hired the correct team getting the best out of everyone, every time is now the challenge."

"Keep in mind that even though you probably have excellent technical skills, there is probably someone else out there who is better: stay humble."

"There seemed to be an uncertainty about the future of the company, which was accurate since it was taken over by Hewlett-Packard not long after my contract ended."

"The company changes direction constantly, no one knows what they're doing, and leadership either presents confusing messages or is absent entirely."

"I would present a more cohesive leadership front and make the company's goals clear to employees through reward systems and executive communication."

"Working with NASA civil servants, assisting them in getting what they need to do their jobs. USRA holds contracts with NASA and working with NASA is a blast."

"Be sure its the job you want to do because you will be doing it for a long time...or until there is a layoff."

What don't you like about working at Universities Space Research Association?

"No advancement. Employees stay in their positions for YEARS. I love to learn but the company does not encourage it or believe in internal advancement."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Provide career path for employees by developing depth in the company. Morale is severely effected. Look at 'sick' rates."
