"Get the engineering group out of the office more and open there minds. Add experienced stable managers that are proactive, and give there actions some thought before proceeding."

What do you like about working at Pevely Dairy?
"Everybody that I work with were very nice, I really like my job, it was good company to work for."
What don't you like about working at Pevely Dairy?
"I like everything about the dairy, the only thing that I didn't like was that we got layoff they close down the plant downtown St.Louis."

"Do your job and we wont have a problem with anything."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Plan on being juggled around like a ball, overtime is available but not consistent. Management leaves much to be desired and the union is NOT for the people."
What don't you like about working at National Beverage Corp.?
"The management there is unacceptable and their expectations are unachievable. The workforce is immature and no one works as a team. The facility is dirty, the environment is poor, and there is no concern for the employees health or family life."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They need to improve communication amongst the entire workforce and implement processes controls and procedures. They need to show the little man some respect in order to get respect in return. They need to treat all employees equally and fairly, have the same expectations for all employees and make the goals reasonable and obtainable."

"Listen to the employees. There were literally hundreds of years of experience (within multiple aviation companys) that may have helped turn the company around if acted upon."

"I like working in the manufacturing field and my job allowed me to enjoy and grow in the field."

"Step back and make sure that this is the field that you want to work in. I love it, but it's not for everyone. If you love what you do for a living, there is nothing better."

"The company became unstable and I felt that by accepting the offered buy-out that I had made the right decision for myself."

"To listen to the operators that perform the daily jobs. They might have suggestions that could save the company time and money."

"I supervised at Highlands Diversified for one year, and the turn over in employees was over 100%"

"I enjoyed working with the Engineering Department and designing a new Satellite Assembly line. I enjoyed training new employees, and enjoyed learning about the metal stamping industry."

"I didn't like the way Management treated the hourly employees as far as scheduling work hours. They would constantly change them from week to week sometimes day to day."

"Management must do a better job of planning production and scheduling."

"Curtis 1000 was a great place to work until 1996 when they closed 18 production facilities."

"I enjoyed the hands on work and supervising the people."

"No- I beleive Curtis 1000 has quit making this large of changes and are still trying to re-establish their business."

"Poor discussion making by corporate."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"They closed 18 production facilities in less then a years time and consolidated all the work to 6 new locations. They lost more employees and customers in the next 2 years than most companies will see in thier life time."

"learning about fabrication of foam insulated steel rolled panels"
What don't you like about working at Metl-Span?
"long hours, 70-80 hours a week on a fix salary. $45,000.00 a yaer translated to $9 to $10 per hour ."

"Change it from the top ( it is own by a Mexican business Man) He runs it like it was in Mexico."

"The work areas were dirty and non-productive. They had no processes in place. Unorganized and very confusing. Treat their work force very poorly."

"Hold all department accountable for what they produce. Too much rework!! Clear and defined work instructions!!"
