What do you like about working at Applied Micro Circuits?

"I loved working at the site in Andover; the corporate headquarters, toward the end of my 10 years - were not pleasant at all."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do not go there - unless the executive corporate culture changes."

What don't you like about working at Applied Micro Circuits?

"The executive staff (headquarters) were not very wise or oriented toward fair/team-building practices. They sent a lot of jobs overseas - when they could have hired more American employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The satellite I worked at was wonderful; however the management at my site was beholding to corporate who were fine until the last year of my stay there. At this point - things were very timultuous and very unfair to employees. Nepotism existed and jobs were placed by more non-Americans than Americans."
