"This company is own by UTC (Pratt and Whitney Inc.). Company equipped with the best in the industry software packages. Company provides engineering support services, which have a lot of urgent needs and work extra hours and weekends is a norm. As well as managing more than 10 projects at the same time."

"Company is specific industry - Aerospace. Be prepared to show not only expertize in the field, but willingness to learn different methodologies to the technical problems solution and procedures."
What don't you like about working at Infotech Aerospace Services?
"The company asset is engineers professionalism, but company does not recognize that and does not have intensives to hold professionals. It is why company constantly straggle and fail new contracts and orders."

"Encourage young engineers to proceed not managerial skills, but professional as well."

"It was a challenge but as an American subsidiary of a German company, the Germans failed to control their operations in North America."

"No advice as the company no longer exists. Keep your eyes open when working for a North American subsidiary of a European Company."

"The managers were abusive, drove off engineers righ and left and lied constantly."

"They company was bought out by Siemens who is running it much better now."

"There were too many and fast structural and managerial changes in a short time period."

"Nothing stands out. Overall, my experiences there were generally positive."

"Don't lie on anything you don't know or you don't have experience with."

"Long commute, inefficient meeting, poor off-shore development quality, and lack of main drive for future road map."

"Try to improve the quality of meeting. Don't drive the good engineer out of the company by hiring people only know how to talk."

"I like the important products and worldwide reach. I like the interesting technical conversations. There are some great engineers."

"Make sure you believe in the vision, or are involved with modernizing it. Be patient."

"Strategy is generally way off. There is an inability to execute. They seem to be fading into complete irrelevance."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Have less research, and focus on new markets. Have less investment in Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and more on creating new experiences that help people work faster and smarter. Have more consumer and mobile focus to everything."

"It is hard to move fast within the company. Teams are very large and unwieldy."

"I liked the great history of innovation and my first two projects there (out of three), including the Big Data cloud database platform work."

"Stay away from those teams that are being downsized or phased out."

"The company is downsizing in free-falling mode. There is a short term focus by some first line managers who just want to save their own asses."

"Retain smart people. Don't panic, keep innovating, and don't overreact to crises."
