"Make sure you believe in the vision, or are involved with modernizing it. Be patient."

What don't you like about working at Microsoft?

"Strategy is generally way off. There is an inability to execute. They seem to be fading into complete irrelevance."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Have less research, and focus on new markets. Have less investment in Word/Excel/PowerPoint, and more on creating new experiences that help people work faster and smarter. Have more consumer and mobile focus to everything."

"There are lots of great engineers and people, lots of technology, and some great leaders here and there."

"Understand the triad model, and get involved with the vision."

"It is hard to move fast within the company. Teams are very large and unwieldy."

"Pick a few things and do them well - and focus on mobile, and new customers."
