4.3Working for PIMCO has been an invaluable experience in my career. They've made it possible to learn a great deal and if you are a performer you will be given any and all you can handle. They are very generous with regards to compensation and training opportunities. Their one misgiving may be that they have not been as successful in promoting a good balance with regards to their employees' professional vs personal lives.
3.4Great company! Highly profitable! Unfortunately, most of profits go to PIMCO's owner/parent company, Allianz, and to those individuals who have been with PIMCO since before it was acquired by Allianz in 2000. PIMCO is already a well-oiled machine where your career progression will be slow, steady, and predictable. Not entrepreneurial. Office politics can be frustrating. PIMCO adheres to a controversial practice known as stack ranking, discouraging teamwork and encouraging unhealthy competition
4.8Working with PIMCO has been a great experience and it is employee friendly. They provide access to virtual learning sites for employees to expand their skills. They use latest technologies which allows the employees to be up to date. They have very good infrastructure and given the current pandemic they upgraded the VPN connection within a short period which allowed employees to connect without any issues. PIMCO's quick response to the pandemic facilitated the smooth transition thereby increasing employee productivity and customer satisfaction.
