"The only upside to working at this facility would be working with the children. You see the changes that they go through and it becomes a rewarding place to work."

"RUN as far away from this place as you can! RUN!"

What don't you like about working at Phoenix House?

"Management has no RESPECT for employees here. They will scream at your in front of other staff, residents, and parents. You will mostly never get your breaks or lunches but are expected to write it in your time card. If you do not cooperate with management they always threaten staff by demoting them or firing them."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"One of the BIGGEST problems that Phoenix House has would be their COMMUNICATION! They often change their mind on everything and they expect staff to adjust their schedule to accommodate Phoenix House. Sometimes you are notified of changes and other time you dont. There is no consistence in this place which is why most of the employees are confused with their responsibilities and end up leaving in two weeks! If management improved in their communication it would improve Phoenix House turnover."
