"I've been at Panera bread since 2010. I have a great management team. They always make sure that we have all the tools to accomplish our jobs. I like the ideals that the company holds and the direction that the company is going. I am grateful for the opportunity to work for the company. They have a 401k plan and many other benefits which also sweetens the deal."
"I've worked with Panera for almost 2 years in separate locations. The rules and regulations are fair but tedious. Management may vary from location to location. The job is very fast paced and you will have to be quick on your feet. It has a great employee discount. The pros and cons of working for Panera are pretty even I would say. It's good, not great."
"Not worth the time. Paid very little on average compared to other Paneras and you are treated as such. Management is a joke. They lie to their customers about their food. And if by chance you get to move up be prepared to be under-paid for the entirety of your employment."
"Out of all the places I've worked Panera is one of the better. The people are friendly enough. It's still fast paced and it's a lot of work for minimum wage."
"It is a very toxic team environment full of clicks and gossip"

What don't you like about working at Panera Bread?
"EVERYTHING. Coworkers were dramatic and didn't work as a team. My training never really even happened. You constantly get thrown under the bus to upper management for issues you're supposed to get helped with, then you get reprimanded for doing things wrong. I cried every day and I'm not a soft person. It broke my spirit working there. Whether if I was quiet or asking questions it had the same outcome. I was alone more often than not and put on a shift I couldn't handle because I didn't know what I was doing. Even my last period was extremely underpaid and I can't get a hold of HR or payroll."

"A majority of my co-workers are focusing on the wrong things at the wrong times, and they like to interrupt me when I am in the middle of doing something else. It seems like they want to look efficient and bossy at the same time. The managers are crazy obsessed with making sure everyone is doing what they want done in order of non-importance first and neglecting the stuff that needs to get done ASAP so that we are better equipped to help serve customers better. It's a mess."
