"In my opinion, these are my 5 in-depth knowledge areas in PV Manufacturing keeping our technology in mind. 1. Module Lamination and curing - Good knowledge of which temperature and pressure settings are good for which kind of models. I have performed a lot of DOE's in this section of our manufacturing line to obtain optimized setting parameters. 2. Appearance Inspection and Module Characteristics - I have a good understanding of our module specifications, both appearance wise and performance characteristics. 3. Dealing with Materials (Encapsulant, backsheets, a few components inside of the modules) - A good understanding of material storage conditions, expiration, material non-conformance and sheet cutting specifications. 4. New Product Introductions - I have been a part of almost 5 new model introductions. Our team takes care of general prototyping, testing, evaluating pilot runs and setting up mass productions. 5. Man - Machine interaction - Our plant is semi-automatized. I deal with production workers (Training) and Machines (Setting up machines, doing a formal OQ and PQ)"
