"I've worked at Oracle Inc since they acquired Sun Microsystems. Although the pay scale is fair, this is not Sun Micro, and it is easy to miss the good old days. The overall compensation package does leave some things to be desired, such as vacation, holidays, PTO, and bonuses. All of which are lacking for those in the Systems Engineering organization. Although to be fair, I cannot speak for other organizations."
