"I am a senior who has been around for a while. I think Oracle has pockets of genius with some heavy bureaucracy. There are tons of resources to help but it's a very self directed company. If you don't visit an office regularly, there is a distinct lack of culture and camaraderie. The vision is spot on in terms of completely integrated systems. It could use fewer PowerPoint producers. PowerPoint decks are available for everything with the associated pros and cons. PowerPoint runs the company."

Application Sales Manager

"Oracle has a large set of comprehensive and highly valuable products. Being able to understand the business acumen of each line of business and move that through a complex sales cycle is a skill required to be successful. Oracle makes you be at the top of your game and pushes you to grow."

Oracle Employee

"It's a great place to cut your teeth, but there's little to no room for advancement without leaving the company and coming back. Also, if a tool you need to do your job isn't on the approved list, you aren't getting it. Also, there's a ton of bureaucracy causing approvals for anything to take months."
