"That the plant Closed and went overseas loosing more profit in the process ."

"To educate employees, staff and senior management of excess cost utilized by different pipelines to bring cost down."
What do you like about working at Osmose?
"Benefits and working with little day to day supervision. Customers were great"

"Don't interview. Mcdonalds would be better. Even working as a dog crux picker upper."
What don't you like about working at Osmose?
"Lack of support. Constantly demanding more..isn't 70 hrs enough No home life. Vacation is spent on the phone most of the time. Always looking to cut back..and it always impacts field personnel negatively. Retaining low quality people."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Talk to foreman and supervisors and find out what direction they think the company is headed."

"I love different challenges and this company may be a good fit for me."

"to be positive and bring all the experience you have to make it better."

"I have no dislikements at this present time. I will need to be part of the team to see what are the negative sidesof the process"

"I love automating the processing and streamlining the day-today process."

"Good experience at self-management, get to be very adept at problem resolution and fire-fighting."

"Good front-line management experience, you will have a large number of direct reports, working 50-60 hour weeks is expected. Advancement is nil, so if you plan on maintaining the same position forever it would be a good fit."
What don't you like about working at HP Enterprise Services?
"You tend to be thrown into the water to learn to swim on most issues. Distant/uninvolved director will not invest in people, process, or automation, leading to a downward trend in work environment. In the past 8 months 7 out of 12 frontline supervisors have resigned, and no replacements have been hired."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Put more emphasis on development of employees. There is a stretched-too-thin work mentality, leaving young professionals on their own with little to no mentor or career path guidance. Front-line management is seen as an expendable resource."

"I enjoyed the atmosphere and warm environment, as well as the faith bestowed in supervisors to do their jobs."

"You'll need to stand out from a competency standpoint, as each store literally receives hundreds of applications each month. Dress professionally, and speak to a manager when you first come in."
What don't you like about working at Kohl's?
"The pay was a little low, and variable hours from week to week meant financial instability for many employees."

"Management usually does the best they can within corporate-mandated constraints."

"The interview was actually fairly informal, which knowing what I know now doesn't come as a surprise. Present yourself in a professional manner and do a little research into the position before applying and they'll be in love with you."

"The unprofessional demeanor in terms of communication, as well as the lack of corporate responsibility. It feels as though the employees are nothing but a means to another dollar."

"Reemphasize your vision into something that incorporates the well-being of your employees. Motivated employees that are on board with your company's goals are worth far more than tangible assets."

"I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere for work if you truly intend to do your job. If you are good at telling stories and not doing your job, this is the perfect place to work."
What don't you like about working at ANADIGICS?
"The company does not support its supervisors and holds its engineers in high regards regardless of their level of incompetence. Unfortunately the company does not focus on quality or control of its processes. The engineers guess at options and whomever can lie the best to management wins. And management does not take the time to actually reference or check facts. They just blindly accept what is said..."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest that management implement an SPC program for its production and process engineering so that it can make viable changes based on data rather than guesses."

"Be professional, know that Menlo tends to hire younger managers because they cost less, use this to your advantage. Learn everything you can, take it with you when you find aomething that pays more."

"Lay out a documented process to hand off to the next person taking over the position"

"Show that you are open to change and embrace it. The company is constantly changing and wants employees who thrive on that."
What don't you like about working at Verizon Communications?
"I dislike company and union disputes still not resolved. It is tough to manage union techs who are at odds with the company because there is still no contract. Change happens everyday and you can never get settled, and there are layoffs every quarter."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Simplify processes as much as possible. Too many systems and ways of doing things cause frustration to the customers. Senior leadership needs to listen more to the ideas of front line employees."
What do you like about working at City of Riverside?
"4-10 work schedule, friendships established with staff and management. I live close to work with a drive of approximately 20 minutes. Working with wastewater is something I enjoy."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The interview process was very lengthy (due to approval through HR and Director). Be prepared for disgruntled employees that have an established a cultural of accusing/blaming each other."
What don't you like about working at City of Riverside?
"There is no opportunity for growth. It is difficult to get something accomplished when approval routes are through the City Management (HR and Public Works Director).Work environment is not enjoyable due to disgruntled employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It would benefit the staff if management would demonstrate more hands on approach. The departments are segregated which makes it difficult to accomplish a common goal."
