3.2 I have a Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on high-speed RF and optics. In past 20+ years, I achieved an excellent track record of managing engineering development from concept to mass production and delivering quality products on schedule and budget. I am a well-round engineer. I have many year working experience in hardware design (RF simulation/measurement, signal integrity, power supply, EMI, dense PCB layout, package design), firmware design (based on 32 bit ARM based micro-controller and CPLD/FPGA) and digital signal processing (FIR filter, data modulation/demodulation, MLSD, FEC code). I am familiar with most communication IO such as USB, PCI express, I2C, SPI, MDIO, InfiniBand, Fiber channel, Ethernet. I had built and managed the development team of 20+ consisting of hardware, software, firmware, optics and mechanical engineers. I have adopted and implemented proven processes from product definition, design for manufacturability/quality, release with change control, bug tracking, documentation & technical training/support, end to end project management during every stage of the project life cycle.

The work life balance is one of the best within the semiconductor industry and it promotes a friendly and engaging atmosphere. It has a global reach with facilities all over the world, from china, the US, to the Netherlands. However, like all companies in the semiconductor industry it is subject to extreme market volatility and prolonged downturns.
