"I have been employed here for about 3 months. It has been a great experience. Financial reps are treated like we are very valuable. Good support and the ability to move up and make good money. You get new laptop, and have access to state of the art facilities. We also got a sign on bonus for the first month. Older reps are very supportive and will help you with cases you can't handle."

"Some flexibility, but not enough. I also like having my own cubicle."

"Make sure you have a contract when you first start working here, or else your boss will walk all over you."

What don't you like about working at Northwestern Mutual?

"My boss doesn't trust me. The bosses are generally pretty self-centered and dump too much responsibility on their subordinates."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more accepting of my staff's errors, and not hold it against them if they are human and forget things."
