What do you like about working at Northrop Grumman?

"It's boring. Every day, I come to work, and do the same thing. It never ceases. Opportunity for growth doesn't exist here, which is why people leave."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be sure that their contract is solid and will be continuing for the time period in which you wish to work there. My first job with them ended 7 months in because nobody told me that the contract was finished. The second one is about to end because they are cutting back funding to the project, which means you're expected to do the same work for less."

What don't you like about working at Northrop Grumman?

"As a System Administrator II, there isn't any opportunity for growth once you get pigeon-holed into a specific technology to support (SQL server, SharePoint, Project Server, etc)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would not alienate my employees, nor would I shamelessly center everything around myself. The team would get credit when it did something, not I, and I would help individuals learn rather than patronize them."

"Work for this company only if you NEED MONEY, and look for new opportunity."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management of Northrop needs to understand the real meaning of DIVERSITY. Management in Northrop have no sense of tolerances of responsibilities. They do personal favors depending on WHO KNOWS WHO. Bad, too bad. Openly insulting individual's education, experiences, as well as their skill sets. Pushes their employees, set up their employees for failures - very questionable employment practices. Liars, cheaters and professional emotional abusers."
