"Most important thing is ability to get a security clearance and appearance of loyalty to company. BS on wanting personal growth because you have to - you won't get it though."

"People - had 2 co-workers going at it - boss was friends with the guy - ugly situation. Also - you are a cost center - not a producer of a product. Extremely boring. This is a place to collect a paycheck only."

"You will do much better if you look at your employees as more than just bonus generators for yourself."

"Relaxed atmosphere, and very intelligent, committed, hard working co-workers."

"No tips, very large company, every hiring department manager is different... just be yourself so that you have a good fit."

"Lack of job-security."

"The Good Old Boys are left after the contracts disappear. And the Good Old Boys are incapable of doing the work."

"Don't go to Grumman, Melbourne, FlJSTARs that is. They're laying off every few months anyway!"

"They can't win a contract. The bosses are pretty much incompetent. Only those that play golf get promoted."

"Replace them, starting at the top."

"The elite group of professionals I worked with."

"Make sure you come prepared. When I was an interviewer for them, we grilled people on their technical backgrounds, don't try to fake it with these guys."

"Salaries were based more on years of experience rather than performance."

"Keep that small company feel, it gives you speed when going after jobs."

"Atmosphere will vary from group to group. Some can be very strict, some can be very lax. If you get stuck in a group that does things that you're not interested in you're very much out of luck for several years."

"None, really -- I understand that the reality of the business world creates the situation I experienced."

"Northrop Grumman in Pico Rivera. I worked from 1984-1999, was a good place to work. It was very team-oriented."
