"I worked for Nike for 17 years and found the work fulfilling in the beginning. After growing up skillfully in the company the pay was not to the benefit of the skills acquired."
"I have worked for Nike Factory Store for just over 1 year. While the company has excellent products, and is very highly received, the overall work environment is very stressful for the type of industry involved. I have received very little encouragement for development or advancement within the company, and have encountered stress at a much higher level than necessary for this type of employment."
"Very large company but had an issue with treating you like a number."
"I would recommend this company to my friends too."
"I've worked for Nike for 7 plus years. Nike is the leader in athletic footwear and is growing every day. Nike's retail stores have been growing every year, while maintaining the essence of what Nike is all about in each of its retail locations, especially in the flagship store where I worked in San Francisco. The passion for not only the products but service is what drives each and every person that is employed there."
"Not a bad job, being that it was retail."
"I've worked at Nike since September 2013. They have showed me comfort, opportunity, and even inspiration. I was hoping that I would be able to design shoes for them, but that's a rare opportunity to come by."
"I had to take any job offered to comply with the unemployment dept. And Nike offered me the job. I still get partial income from Unemployment."
"I have worked for Niketown NY for 5 years now getting my Hurdler (Nike 5 year award) and doing various jobs within the company. I started off as a regular sales associate while still in school finishing my education then went to Nike iD which is a customization form of Nike and then to the Nike Digital team which is for informing, setting up products (Fuelband, Sportswatch, Nike Sensor, and Nike+ Running and Training APPS) for customers. This was really where I showed my passion."
"Fantastic campus, lifestyle, benefits. Great place to have a career if started there early during your career, i.e. as a young intern or fresh out of school. Much more challenging to fit in mid-career, as the culture is immature and office politics is like a school playground that can dominate any accomplishments. It's young and hip, the flip side is a lot of immature unprofessional behavior. It's a vast org with lots of micro culture, some much better than others, so do your homework."
"I've worked for Nike Retail since 2010. I've found it to be a strong company with good ethical values and an emphasis on customer retention. The company employs around thousands people and has over 30 locations in California."
