"I don't recommend anyone to come to the outdoor/technical apparel division of Newell Brands just yet. The business itself is doing ok but there are management issues (bullying style leadership & mental abuse that accompanies it) in certain departments that continue to be ignored."

"I got along with every one, floor to managers very open door friendly policy.HR never got involved we all ways tried to fix things first,would bend the rules in cases very understanding. My crews manager was the best of our department ."

"If you take a job with them it will look good on your resume.Dont think your going to be thier long, they shut down all but two manufacturing sites in the US. Just rent a house dont buy."
What don't you like about working at Newell Rubbermaid?
"When NEWELL bought 51% of RUBBERMAID they had never bought a company that big and paid to much.The last 3 years they were despruite for profits, sales and marketing shrinking, stock price flat, we as employes were the only truly cost they could control. No raises,bonuses was a pizza party paid out of our personal managers pocket, higher out of pocket health ins-they was self insured.Personal holidays no longer, 40 million dollar months useally was a catered cook -turned into managers cooking hot dogs on a grill and employes furnished all sides.Fired our janitor company and bruing in a spinish girl well as she said card no good."
