"Working at MGM was a great experience and one I will always remember. MGM Grand Detroit is a large group of diverse people coming together to make it work. Best word to describe my time at MGM is just plain "awesome">"
"I've worked for MGM Grand for over a year and really enjoy the people I work with as well as the type of job I perform. Very friendly and fast paced job. Learned about many different things and all kinds of people."
"I have worked with MGM Grand for over a year. I love working there. the staff in the office work so well together."
"I have worked for MGM for many years. The gaming industry has been a career for me for a long time. It is a great place to break in and start and build your career."
"I have worked at the MGM for now over 26 years and am currently a day one employee. I have seen so many major changes to this company and assisted it making this a home for thousands of employees. Incentives are good with different retirement packages depending which department you work in. Company promotes diversity and has many charitable organizations they help."
"I've worked here since 2012 and it's a good place to get your foot in the door on the Las Vegas Strip. It's a smaller property that is a condo / hotel and is non-gaming and non-smoking, both a plus in my eyes. The downside is that there isn't any "casino money" added to the budget equation for the property. They do ok with what they've got to work with though. The downside with being at a smaller property is that you can cap out how high up the career chain you can advance. Many people start out here but end up leaving in order to get a promotion to a higher position or pay raise. In some departments someone either has to leave or die in order for you to move up. ;-) My advice, get hired, get in and get good experience and move on to greener pastures."
"They have the right idea. They treat their employees great and every employee I have spoken with seems to be a walking advertisement for the MGM. This was a good place to start my career. The ability to move up seems to be low as employees don't seem to leave often."
"Company has good values and standards but is hard to move up."
"I was very happy for working for MGM Grand but I was also ready to move on to a different skill set."
"Funny, great memories, strong environment."
