"Management styles were old school. They need to get with the times and experiment with new ways of selling."

What don't you like about working at Merck?
"Merck's culture is that of a very large organization-often protocol was followed even if it was not practical. They were not responsive to customer needs. Additionally, the transition created unrealistic expectations and created a great deal of stress for upper management that in turn added stress to the jobs in the field. There was a real lack of integrity and honest problem solving."
What do you like about working at Merck?
"I was able to build great relationship with my manager, help increase (45%) of drug marketing."

"Managers have to trust their subordinates by making them feel part of the company by getting them involved and giving them more responsibilities and also having them involved when making decisions in the department."
