"I worked for two years at McMaster University, and it was fantastic; one of the best places I've ever worked. There is an excellent sense of community and camaraderie, and lots of work interaction between colleagues. Fairly average in terms of compensation and resources. What really made this place stand out for me was the people. Very friendly, helpful, and encouraging."

"In 2016 I went to iran to visit family for a while and while there I worked at a testing and inspection lab where I was a researcher. This job involved doing a bunch of mechanical and material tests on pipes, paints, and coating to make sure that they were appropriate for the clients needs. We worked with several clients mostly in the petrochemical and agricultural field. This position really taught me what is required in a commercial setting in terms of communication and presentation as projects had to be completed by a deadline and the data analyzed and prepared to present to a client. I worked in a team with people bringing in expertise in from a lot of fields and I had to really learn how to thrive in a team environment."
