"MCI was one of the great new CLECs to the scene in the mid to late 90's, however there was a downturn in regard to how its financials were handled."

"MCI Worldcom was one of the first corporate companies that I've had the pleasure of working for. I enjoyed the company benefits and the hopes of growth. The office I worked in was eventually closed down."

"Since the company is now part of Verizon I would not have any advice."

What don't you like about working at MCI?

"I would have liked to have moved further with the company had they kept the course that they started with in the beginning before the downturn."

"I would have suggested better handling of financials."

"The local and long distance were two different entities, so when there was a problem it was very hard to get it handled."
