"Mayo Clinic is a good institution to work for. Be prepared for cost-savings restructuring of projects and tell management that you are agile and flexible and will do what it takes to make IT projects successful."

"Certain departments, like mine, are strongly controlled by physician-led priorities that don't allow technical folks to explore or advance in new technical areas or skills - this leads to decreases in freshness of ideas and innovation."
