"I've worked for MAXIMUS since 1997, I actually started as a bilingual service rep (CSR) for the company. I did some cross training with data entry processing choice forms that we receive for beneficiaries that qualify for our program. And also then moved into the research department as a Research Analyst. After a few years I applied for the Data Analyst position where I am now and also have now got experience and do business analyst work as well."

"It's a grate company to work for, management doing every thing right"

"The learning environment and culture provided by our client, the state of Illinois."

"Keep options open. Use skills to see hard work is rewarded. If not, move on."

"The culture and environment was not the best. Employees were not held accountable for actions. Pay was not suitable for position."

"I would change the culture and make employees accountable. I would also fight for more compensation for employees."

"This is a government consultant and there are a lot of road blocks to get things done"

"Technical people should be more valued in the company since its a consulting company"

"The service we provide for under privilege children. Working with some of the people there."

"To participate with the participants with individual training account (ITA) This program is a great program for dislocated workers, adults, and youth program"

"There was a lack of communication delivered down from SR. Management.at times."

"Develop a plan to broaden the internal employee career path."

"Regular hours, convenient location in Downtown Boston. People in the workplace are generally friendly."

"Very old-school business enviornment. All of the cliched recommendations for applying, behavior, etc. apply. Little tolerance for individuality."

"Innovation and outside of the box processes are not encouraged."

"The bottom line above all else attitude is not impressing anyone."

"If you like being busy, this is the place for you."

"Only interview here if you are desperate for a job."

"If you like having a life outside work, avoid this place. Very demanding for my time, even when I'm putting in extra time. No sense of real structure, just a jump when I snap attitude from management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Before promising the world to client, find out what is in the pipeline already and give a better estimate as to when it will be delivered. Giving unrealistic promises only frustrates the staff and irritates the clients when it is late. That's why turnover is very high at this place."
