"The company likes to steal money from nurses' paychecks"
"Recruiter doesn’t have information on job details. Job coordinator doesn’t know what recruiter assigned. Very big gaps in communication?? maikes it difficult for pupil success. Pay does not compensate for challenges in daily exposition."
"I've worked for Maxim Healthcare for more than 2 years. During my first year and a half, I went through all the good and the bad. I had my wins, I saw team growth and I made new friends. I also saw extremely poor care of workers by our National Director, I saw poor leaderships qualities in supervisors and I saw poor character in the office environment. Maxim is not over the top when it comes to micro-management, which is a huge plus."
"Culture between employees is great but the structure is lacking and there is no room for development at the company."
"Great culture that thrives to serve patients and clients, while providing growth opportunities."
"The manager never helps if you asked any questions and will constantly yell at you if you ask, yet he requires you to ask him or report to him anything or you will get fired. He's also a racist, he treats people differently depending on their race. He will retaliate against you if you do not make him happy. He retaliated on nurses by letting them go earlier while they gave out two weeks' notice, leaving them out of jobs before they started another job so they couldn't pay their bills on time. He teaches you to hate the nurses at the same time your commissions depend on them. He teaches you to not believe the nurses and accused them are liars but there's no proof. The working hours are overly long - 10-12 hours a day and there was a constant anxiety over who was watching or monitoring your activities, even for seasoned and successful recruiters bringing in a huge chunk of the office's revenue. They don't care about you but only the $. You will lose your life, your dignity, most importantly your good physical and mental health if you worked there."
"I have been working for Maxim as a recruiter for appr. 3 years and have mostly enjoyed my experience, but am disappointed in how the company treats their clinical team, both internal and external. I feel as though the work-life balance is very difficult with Maxim and that the company itself does not treat its employees with as much care as a company as big as Maxim should. Work piles up for the internal clinical team, and recruiters and clinical team are on call for many days at a time and on weekends, forcing them to physically take work home with them."
"Maxim Healthcare services has provided me with the tools and knowledge to be a successful recruiter and perform consistently exceeding my goals. I have been able to use Maxim's resources to grow my skill set in sales, customer service, talent acquisition, onboarding, and much more. I truly believe the recruiter role at Maxim is a great first step for any new graduate from college and recommend the company."
"i worked as a traveller for maxim healthcare for about a year. they were great to me"
"It was a great experience and I am glad I was able to use it to expand my abilities to excel in the areas of business that I want to be greater at in the future."
