Materials Engineer

"RUN!!! Run as fast as you can!"

What do you like about working at Materials Modification?

"Nothing, this place is literally hell on earth"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Please, I am not kidding, my colleagues were some of the greatest people I have had the pleasure to work with, but the management, and I do not use this term lightly, are evil."

What don't you like about working at Materials Modification?

"Everything, but the abuse of the immigrant population is horrible, and I am a US citizen. There was the constant threat of termination, falsification of timecards (I would literally work 9- 16 hour days in a row and only be allowed to charge 8 hours). All hours are charged to projects even though they only do the bare minimum to not get caught while they crank out more proposals for SBIR/STTR grants. The same data was reported to two different agencies and when I reported it to the authorities, nothing was done. It is an unsafe environment as well as mentally unhealthy. The owners are massoginist pigs who despise and at the same time are deathly afraid of women. I cannot tell people enough not to even consider working here. Run away if at all possible."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop habitually abusing their employees, federal and state laws, as well as the general principles embraced by most human beings."
