"Most did not know what was going on and no communication"

"The pay and being close to my dad."

"Have a back bone, if you don't they will walk over you. But on the other hand I enjoyed working there while I did."
What don't you like about working at Fluor?
"The 14-18 hour days. Working 6-7 days a week. Being the only woman in the work place. They make it clear that you a woman and they will let you know your place."

"They need to be more understanding when it comes to family and emergencies. When you ask for a day off they should understand."

"I enjoy the work which I was assigned, the co-workers and the way the company was ran. We were all just a big family but with a business atmosphere"

"Only to be sure that they enjoy the kind of work the company does and be loyal. If they are loyal to them, they are loyal back."
What don't you like about working at Aluminum Blanking Co.?
"The company's main business was with the automobile industry but also had commercial. They are a stamping company and need to expand into the commercial business more."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Expand the type of work the company bids for."
What do you like about working at Babcock International Group?
"I was allowed the freedom to solicit vendors best qualified for my projects. After the initial training, I was allowed the freedom to perform my job duties with very little supervision. I was self-motivated."
What don't you like about working at Babcock International Group?
"I was a contract worker, not full time employee."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Office manager was too stingy with office supplies. Office supplies were under lock and key. One would need to make a request for such items as paper clips, white-out, post-its, etc. We are not children, treat us as adults."

"The elimination of jobs and continued down sizing without regard to the quality of product being turned out and of the level of customer service being offered."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep enough people employed to assure that quality standards are met, the level of good customer service is maintained and the moral of the workforce is improved."
