"Not a great place to work at"

"I work for Mastec since September 2019 as a Cost Analyst. Additional I have received a new scope as Process Improvement Expert. The company very care about an employee, there is a friendly atmosphere at work."

"I’ve worked for Mastec for 7 months now and enjoy the atmosphere. Everyone is willing to help you succeed. Our office it’s 1 for all and all for 1. Upper management has an open door. Anytime you call they’re answering their phones to talk with you. 1 quarter they took us out to dinner and an escape room. A great way to help build teams working and trusting along with each other."

"Mastec purchased the company I worked for, and 6 months out of the 2 years employed I worked for Mastec. Pay was good, but the work day was 12+ hours a work day, Saturday was a workday leaving no weekends off unless your submit PTO or became sick. With little time for personal life and ever changing position/procedures this made the job unstable."

"This company is really difficult to advance in, especially if they don't like you. They will post available positions, but already have them filled."

"I had worked for them since August 2012 to integrate and troubleshoot Ericsson, Nortel, Seimens, and Nokia cell sites. This included 2G, 2.5G, 3G, 4G LTE systems. Had to not only integrate sites, but remotely troubleshoot sites in 8 states Puerto Rico, and USVI. I don't think they really understood our value and preferred to only install the hardware. Sadly people forget there is more to make sure a cell site stays up and is at optimal performance."

"I worked for MasTec Advanced Technologies, as a DirecTV Technician, for 18 months. In my time there, I have found culpability to exist only on the part of the technician. Management is in dereliction of duty with predictable repetition. Unless you enjoy being stabbed in the back, or thrown under the bus, I would steer as far away from this company as possible."

"They have air conditioning. The air conditioning is quite cold most of the time."

"Pretty much everything. Low pay, brutal amount of work, fragmented company, bad decisions everywhere etc."

"Seek employment elsewhere. You're killing the company. Go now, Please."

"Troubleshooting problems and helping and educating the clients on their services"

"traveling to different states and working with people of all levels."

"Employees is as strong as its leader and a company will grow if leaders care and support its workers."

"I was able to work from home. Work was interesting and involved many different projects."

"I don't have any complaint about working at the company."

"The management was good to me. It performed at the highest level of integrity."
