"I love the poly-valency and the challenges."
"I love marketing and anything creative."
"I like working as assistant. It helps me picking up stuff I did not know about. And it is a challenge to learn a lot more stuff that I did not know about. I do like my position. And I like to help out others to work as a team. And I do agree, working as a team does get the job done fast."
"I wish there were more creative opportunities."
"I love my work, since to be a marketing assistant you would have lots of chances to meet different people, which is easy to make friends and contact with different work environment. Our boss is nice, he encourages me to be myself, he is a good leader who makes all the employees in the company admire him."
"Love helping to truly meet client needs. However, positions are highly competitive and difficult to find."
"I really enjoy working on the Marketing Field. I think that working as a Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Assistant for over 7 years, I have learned and gained enough experience for a Management position."
"I love being given the freedom to create flyers and images in what I would think is best, but it can be frustrating when you are given very vague directions on what someone wants. It can sometimes take many revisions to get a design that a boss is happy with, and can sometimes stunt your creativity or make you look uncreative to others."

What do you like about working at Wilbur-Ellis?
"They are short staffed and have us pick up the slack its very stressfull"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Unless you are applying for something big in the company like management (which I've heard their salaries are not the greatest) I wouldnt bother. You can be making alot more going someplace else instead of making a whopping 30-60 cent raise every year to live off of. There is definatelty no motivation to stay at a place like that"
What don't you like about working at Wilbur-Ellis?
"There is so much paperwork to be done and we are at least a month behind. I feel as though we should be paid better especially what were worth if they expect us to work as hard as we do and I have no problem with working hard its the fact that we have horrible wages to go with it as oppose to receptionists who make higher than us. The salary at Wilbur Ellis is an embarrassment"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would definately pay my employees better especially the ones who have been there for years and years. It's hard to find a good dedicated employee and at Wilbur Ellis there are so many people that quit and leave for better opportunities elsewhere as here the only thing your looking at every year for a raise is a slap in the face. I know myself and alot of others work so hard and overtime to get things done but we are paid equal to someone who flips burgers!! (Yes I have done my research and seen what other jobs pay compared to this)"

"A few bad apples can spoil the bunch."
What do you like about working at Price Edwards & Co.?
"I liked almost everything about the company until close to the end. The work was challenging, my immediate coworkers were mostly easygoing and decent people, and the compensation was decent. I liked working on different things every day, but also having long term projects that kept me fairly grounded."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be prepared for everyone to act very friendly to your face, but none of them are your friends."
What don't you like about working at Price Edwards & Co.?
"I didn't like the fact that the atmosphere was very closed to innovation of any kind. When I was hired, I was asked to revamp a filing system for 7 brokers. They resisted all forms of paperless or computer managed reworking, so eventually, we ended up with a new paper format that was only slightly different from the system they had prior to my hiring. This attitude was endemic, stretching into marketing and client communications as well.I also did not like the false-friend system that was part of the fabric of the company. People were always gossiping about one another and talking behind each other's backs, getting embroiled in petty intrigues and backbiting, that it was finally worth more to me to just steer clear of most of my fellow employees."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The management at Price Edwards & Company should think very carefully about the corporate climate they wish to foster, and make decisions that are in keeping with their desired outcomes. Specifically, they should look more at their employees' track records and behavior than at other employees' backbiting and infighting."
