"Most of the leadership is questionable. No one in upper management seems to have a good idea on how to make us profitable."

"Decide who we are and who we want to be and establish a plan of attack to go after that demographic."

"It is a fun place to work however, not the challenging career I am now looking for."

"Managers have a hard time relating to employees based on the fact that many have never been waitresses, hosts, or cooks. I strongly believe Managers should be hired from within or have more experience working in a restaurant, not just credentials."

"I love to train and help others. I worked with new managers, staff, and customers. There was always a lot to do and I stayed very busy."

"Look at all your options and weigh out what you really want out of a job. If you want to move up fast, just work"

What don't you like about working at Marie Callender's?

"The only thing I did like was the amount of hours you were expected to put in to be successful. I really wanted to settle down with a family, but that was not possible with working 60 plus hours a week and sometimes out of town for a month or two at a time."

"A little more flexable hours of employment. I would have taken more of a pay cut just to have more personal time."
