"I wished that I could have worked there longer. I was laid off during a slow period."

"I wished that the company had diversified their technologies to other areas."

What do you like about working at Myers Container?
"I enjoyed my work and the people I worked with on a daily basis. There were no layers of management so working closely with the executive group was very refreshing and rewarding. The challenges were many but the work was rewarding and the people were great."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Yes. Ask for everything in writing before accepting the job. I negotiated for two more weeks of vacation but didn't get it."
What don't you like about working at Myers Container?
"I didn't like the way operations were pushed to the brink by the executive team but let other departments off the hook even though their work performance directly affected our operational performance. I found this to be a little unfair."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Not so much for management as much as it would be for the executive committee: be fair in your dealings and expectations for all the departments. Don't push one to the breaking point but let another department skate by although ineffective and not meeting their goals."

"low pay little chances at real growth, you better be good, if you to move up."

"poor planning, waste, no pat's on back at all. They just want robots."

"Treat People with more respect. Put some of the profit money back to the workers."

"Limited resources to complete all regulatory requirements, commute to job site kind of far."

"Get resources to finance, environmental health and safety plan and manufacturing plans"

"Just to be youself and make sure you ask all the questions you have for the position you are applying for."

"The ordering of materials was easy, but the approval process was no good. Theire was no way to find out if reqs. were approved unless you spoke to purchasing or my manager."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"It would be less time consuming to track reqs. online so you would know when materials were approved so you would have a timeframe when materials will arrive. This would greatly help scheduling."
