What do you like about working at Macy's?

"Some of the sales staff are very nice to work with. Most managers are super people to work with also."

What don't you like about working at Macy's?

"Not equal hours for all employees. Hours of working cut to 4 hours per shift, not good if you have to drive. Schedulers show favoritism towards some workers (this is not sales staff, although it happens there too). Don't offer differential pay when you are scheduled to work nights during inventory. Not a good caring environment. They don't care how long you have worked there when scheduling (non sales)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be fair and equal when making work schedules for merchandising team. The main thing employees need is a sense of belonging, which doesn't exist."

"Company consolidating 2 years in a row."
