"Macys is a wonderful department store. This location which I frequently shopped in wasn't one of my favorites to work in."

"Macys does not care at all about the beauty part of the store. We are just treated poorly. The management is the worst part. If you have an idea to bring up the counter don't expect them to listen to you unless you are the Lancôme, Estée Lauder or Clinique counter. You don't get paid enough to do what they tell you! Worst company to work for."

The only down fall is if you want to move up in the company, Macy's goes by seniority and not skills or ability. Even if you have more skills than someone else, the person that has been working for the company longer will move up."

The turnover is very high in my company's region for LP due to the poor conditions, pay, benefits, and compensation."
