"This is hell for anybody who likes to work in an organized environment. No annual review, no career path, no pay increase, no organization at all. Just a sweat shop with a geriatric micro-manager CEO who controls every breath you take."

"This company has had it's hard times but is growing."

What do you like about working at Lucix?

"I helped grow the company with two products. That was the fun part. It is now 35,000 sq. ft with 100+ employees."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It is a good company. Beware of the management that is there now. They may hire you for a specific position and then change your position into something you were not trained to do or don't want to do. I have seen them hire a sales person and then put them in QA later. They have a very unconventional management style. They do know the satellite business."

What don't you like about working at Lucix?

"The new management took the company in a new direction away from the microwave components and into hi-rel space payload equipment. The components that I worked so hard to build will probably be sold off down the road."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I wanted to see both departments grow, but maybe they did not have the funds to grow both. Do not stay set in your ways, but expand all your options, even if it is not in you comfort zone."
