"Working for Loyola University Maryland until my graduation in 2020 was a truly life changing experience. Although I was also attending this institution while also working there, I was treated as a professional and never looked down upon based upon my status as a student. Through leading a team under supervision of a professor, I was able to gain essential skills both professionally and interpersonally."
"This position was a helpful introduction to the professional world"
What do you like about working at Loyola University?
"This company taught me what it was like to be an employee as part of a larger group. I was given the opportunity to not only contribute to the overall production of the office, but was given leadership opportunities as well. My boss and co-workers treated me with respect and while they expected a lot from me in terms of my work ethic, they were always willing to give help and advice. I was given the opportunity to extend some of my computing skills as well as my researching abilities and technical writing abilities. Overall the experience was very educational and taught me how to be a productive, successful employee."

"Despite how much I enjoyed working for the Enterprise Applications department, the overall management style was very disorganized. It made the work environment slightly more hostile than it could have been, and made the distribution of work very uneven and confusing."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest that the management adopt stricter, more explicit practices for running the department. Whether it be clarifying people's job titles or running workshops to foster better communication between management and the other employees, something should be done to help get the department better organized."
