"Its a non-profit organization without any start-up or bridge money. The PIs salary is totally dependent on the PIs grants. Salary does not match the experience and degree. Benefits are average. There is politics. A great place for research technician to work and do other stuff. No tenured track or tenured position."
"Neither an academic institute nor a university. It's a contract company. No institutional support for the PIs. Benefits are not as good as other institutes. Salary is not very great for the experience and higher degree. Salary is totally dependent on the extra-mural grant funding. Too much politics. It's a good place for research technicians to get some experience."
