"I've worked for LinkedIn since year 2018, started as Member Success Consultant. Local Singapore team is heavily manipulated by seniors and managers from Bangalore after local Singapore manager left during covid period. Promotion was hard to come by unless you play clever office politics and apple polish. Luckily I managed to get transferred to current team and got promoted to Senior role this year. Company benefits are getting less this year, used to be able to claim flexi for personal travel expenses but now all claimable categories are not relevant for me."

Contractor culture here is very positive and not as starkly different from full-time employees as other similar companies make it. Employees are valued, heard, and heavily invested in. Compensation here is modest and you will hear over and over again, LinkedIn is not a place you come to to get rich. The company is also very large and can move a bit slowly, so climbing the ranks takes a lot of time and effort."
