1.4Lincoln primarily exists to cheat its customers. Insider employees/cronies do nicely as long as they toe the line and help the company rip off seniors. Those who actually care and try to do the right thing are thrown under a bus. The work environment is openly hostile and discriminatory (especially for anyone with health issues). I was assaulted by a coworker who didn't even have any action taken against her, to give just one example.
4.2I've worked for Lincoln Financial Group for two years. They are a wonderful company with a generous 401k and benefits package. Lincoln has allowed me to better balance my work life and home life since they are not open on the weekends, in addition to getting 10 paid off holidays throughout the year. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a great customer service role to apply at Lincoln Financial Group. It can be stressful when first starting out but once you get the hang of the rules and how the systems work, it becomes second nature. The hardest part is dealing with negative or rude participants, but overall it's an enjoyable place to work.
3.4Lincoln Financial Group was a good company with really great benefits and helped me learn a lot about finances. There was a lot of good people working there with purpose to help people understand retirement and how to take care of themselves. I had some great managers, unfortunately there were managers there lacking many qualities to move forward with great ideas and technologies, but this is the only thing I found subpar. The only reason I left was because I had an opportunity to continue my education.
