"I enjoyed the strong commitment to handling our work responsibly and ethically. To be able to pay claims fairly and to try cases only when there was serious merit."

"Come prepared, the insurance world is aging and as a result there are many very experienced adjusters out there."

"The opportunities for upward mobility were not immediately clear in my own office, but this is not unusual in the insurance industry."

"That upper management be committed to honoring the reasonable and appropriate decisions of middle management."

"Make sure that you are really interested in workers compensation law/legal field."

What don't you like about working at Liberty Mutual?

"I was not appreciated for my hard work as an employee, despite how well I did. They also did not explain everything about the position to me, prior to me being hired. I studied accounting and finance in school, and though they knew my financial background, they did not tell me that it wasn't really related in finance. I was under the impression that it was. However, I am not interested in the law field, which is what it was."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Appreciate their employees more since that office ranked the lowest in that area."
