"I worked for LexisNexis for 7 months in a temporary contractor position as an Account Manager. The work itself was rewarding and provided good work experience. The organization had just gone through drastic changes that included the loss of a good number of full-time employers and a major reorganization. As a result, many processes and procedures were still in flux so it was sometimes difficult to get a grasp on expectations. Still, the overall experience was a pleasant one."

"I've worked for Lexis for 4.5 years, they are a good company to work for with many possibilities and ways to move your career ahead. They have about 5000 employees and a nice campus with many amenities."

"Although the company was very good to its employees in most aspects, the pay for various positions was very poor. Upper mgmt was paid well but middle mgmt and subordinates was kept low. This position was eliminated as others were when the company decided on how to save cost, yet I see it being "recreated" like many have been in the past once they realize the errors in its elimination."

"A frustrating decline in expectations, merit increases, and morale."

Team Manager

What do you like about working at LexisNexis?

"I enjoy working with the people: colleagues, leadership and team members. They provide excellent benefits, opportunities for growth, and training."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Concentrate on your skills and what you can bring to the company. What puts you at the top of your field and sets you apart from other candidates. Give scenarios and real-life examples that demonstrate these skills."

What don't you like about working at LexisNexis?

"The way they are cutting costs. Multiple reductions in force is putting more work on those that are still there. The fear of losing one's job also puts a lot on someone to produce more and the work is not always at the highest quality. It seems as though not all departments are treated equally anymore."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to my employees and customers. So many times companies are more concerned about the dollar than what makes its employees and customers happy. I hear a lot about the glory days and how the company would show employees how it valued them through incentives and company sponsored events. Put these things back in place to encourage output from your employees and decrease burnout."

What don't you like about working at LexisNexis?

"Has proved to be a drawback in employment afterwards. In the end, the Company doesn't care about it's employees. They don't understand its the people."

What suggestions do you have for management?
