"Meeting great coworkers and vendors. Having the ability to move up in the company."

"Don't give your energy to this company. Find another company with better reviews."
What don't you like about working at JRK Property Holdings?
"Highest employee turnover rate I've ever seen, upper management treats you like garbage, over worked, under staffed and under paid."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay people what they're worth, treat people with respect. Care more about residents and employees instead of money."
What do you like about working at Equity Residential?
"It is generally a laid back atmosphere depending on who you work with and who is coming through the door."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be prepared to take heat for your performance. For example you will get a lot of grief if your leasing totals aren't very high, even if no one rents because Equity jacked their rates."
What don't you like about working at Equity Residential?
"Management is vague and unattached. They refuse to make life easier for employees and residents if it affects their bottom line. You also have to deal with some horrible people. Equity also likes to change rules etc that make a lot of residents angry however its not the corporate leadership that has to deal with the backlash."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would put employees first. After all its the property employees who generate revenue. Increase pay and work with us to make doing our jobs easier and more efficient."

"The company is very good to its employees with certain contests and incentives for good sales"

"Be prepared for long hours and tough competition for commission sales"

"The hours are not scheduled, its basically a 7 am to 9 m everyday shift. Except Sundays"

"Great training programs, adheres to policy, opportunity for advancement, flixibility to move from property to property and in between cities."

"Gables is a great company overall - the training process is an efficient one."

"Salaries are not always commensurate with work results. Some procedures are repetitive."

"More focus on SOP training instead of top shop training."

"I actually enjoyed coming to work everyday. Though I did not get paid by the hour, the atmosphere was worth it! Everyone welcomes you with open arms!"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Just go in there and be yourself. Try not to get to comfortable because then you will not ever make money. Don't rely on this permanently because it's not much growth happening here. It's perfect for a temporary or supplemental job ONLY!"
What don't you like about working at Hubbard Bowers?
"I did not like how the broker in charge ran the company. Honestly she does not need that title and should just be a leasing agent. She can be very selfish at times and will throw anyone in her way under the bus. She comes of nice but eventually you will see her for what she really is! Also I hated not getting paid hourly. If you have a second income than this is a perfect job but if you live alone than this is not consistent pay because it's commission only and you could work for weeks before you ever get a paycheck!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Well first off the owner needs to hire a more competent broker in charge. There were so many complaints about her while I was there and how slack she is at responding to owner's. She's very money hungry and will knock down whoever stands in her way! Also this company should consider an hourly wage for leasing consultants. They use their own transportation and gas daily and only get $200 per house they lease ($171.00 after taxes!)"
