Learning Consultant at Humana
in Louisville, KY

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"The indictment."

What do you like about working at Humana?

"I had friends there. It seems to be fairly stable. They have some excellent product and they are forward thinking in this respect alone."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure the hiring person likes you. Likability trumps competence."

What don't you like about working at Humana?

"Humana is a top-down organization with lots to learn and serious difficulty listening. They are cliquish and this seriously hurts outcomes. Managers are almost universally incompetent."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Leave. Go now and let someone competent do the job. If you insist on staying, treat it like a job, not a club. Listen to employees. You want them to be engaged, realize that you are the barrier."
