"Motorola has great career advancement program and has great management training program which I have benefited from. My upper managers and director really appreciated what I have contributed so they have gave me share of stocks earlier than anyone else."

"Make sure your background is solid, Engineers and Managers will ask you lots of technical questions."
What don't you like about working at Motorola Solutions?
"Motorola is great company to work with great benefits. I just wanted to move to California at that time."

"Motorola managers are doing great job in supporting and leading the Engineers, as well as training, so just keep up the good work."

What do you like about working at TransUnion?
"Didn't - worst job I've ever had. They did a bait and switch on me. I interviewed for one position and accepted it and before I started, they gave that job to another employee. I was given that employee's job -- I wouldn't have accepted that position."

"Don't"
What don't you like about working at TransUnion?
"They closely monitor the comings and goings of employees by using the access to the parking lot and the building. I was told that they had flex time - after I started they told me my hours were 8 to 6. They switched the position I was hired for (C/C++, Python on Unix with Window configuration management). They even switched the company I was to work for - I was hired into TransUnion, on my first day I was transfered to CompuCredit (a company that makes money by finding people with bad credit and extending credit to them). This company and this position will make you feel dirty (and not in a good way)"

"None - I believe that there would be no way to fix this company."

"Decent work/life balance, though this is getting worse lately. There is a lot of technical debt, and no support for eliminating it."
What do you like about working at Disney Interactive Media Group?
"The people here are amicable and there is at least a pretense of a work/life balance."

"If you like to do innovative work, this is not a good place to be. If you want a comfortable position that requires very little technical growth, you might be ok here."
What don't you like about working at Disney Interactive Media Group?
"The group is trending toward a sweatshop, and the company is not willing to put new projects on hold in order to allow time to reduce the massive amount of technical debt that has accrued from years of bad engineering."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Dedicate some time to replacing the legacy systems, and give up on the idea of incremental updates. Also stop forcing the developers to clone the existing systems rather than improving upon them."

"There was no reason to eliminate the custom dept. They did not factor in the hardware sales from offering a full solution, including software."
