"Most, of the people there are Great people to work for.Great location in the downtown Minneapolis area."

"LarsonAllen, LLP was NEVER at any time called Hopkins, Parker ! The original founders of the company were Larson, Allen, & Weishair. They bought out Hopkins, Parker, but never took on the name of Hopkins, Parker. Bad information."

What don't you like about working at LarsonAllen?

"I had skills in other areas, but was not allowed to move forward because they liked me in the position I was hired to do."

"Look for work elsewhere."

What don't you like about working at LarsonAllen?

"The entire organization claims that they want their employees to take emotional ownership of their work, but do not afford the proper amount of time to do so. Everything is about the budget and getting it done. Even if there is not other work to do, they would rather you rush to get the work done so you are within budget and sit and twiddle your thumbs for half a day than spend the time cleaning up the clients books. The whole time I was at the new hire meeting in MN the partners touted how great of a career move it would be to stay long term with the firm, blah, blah, blah, but they never paid what private industry does. It is all about the bottom line with that company. It is nothing it claims to be. It is not about the whole, but rather about what the new hires can do for the partners. Worst CPA firm EVER."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There is no management. There is no guidance. There is no one to help. Everyone is too busy to take the time to train properly. The training sessions in MN are a JOKE. I learned NOTHING because the people who were teaching were almost as clueless."
