"Kroger has made business decisions that are not conducive to a bright future"
"Love working there. It was an amazing environment and always kept me moving. Although the tasks could get repetitive, my coworkers always tried to keep it interesting."
"I worked as a DevOps Intern over a summer and had a great experience and feel that I learned a lot. They appreciated my work and even extended my internship into the following school year. I was given real and meaningful work and everyone was very approachable which was something I appreciated."
"A nice normal place to work."
"Great place to work although my role ended up involving too much travel for my family situation."
"No communication, last minute scheduling, and a complete lack of work life balance."
"Good and reliable. The human relation is good and the salary is not bad."
"I’ve worked for Kroger Stores for 6 and a half months as a produce clerk. The job at the beginning was honestly a relaxed job with low pay, along with needing better on the floor training. This position would require a lot of communication between co-workers, and understanding how to operate the area by yourself with tons of customers wondering where things are. A lot of misunderstanding evolves around this position with co workers and management. Without the drama and selfishness, I just this place for anyone who needs a first job or anyone that’s into retail that has no problem with low pay."
"Good company with good, understanding leadership."
"I worked at store 549 (located on Clinton highway) and my experience there was absolutely terrible! Managers are rude and hateful especially Mike Boles and Mike Slaten. They will yell at you and threaten you if you call in sick. I do NOT recommend people to work here unless they can handle the rudeness and hatefulness!"
