"I enjoy the interaction with the customers and the variety of duties. I also enjoy working with the people there and the lack of down time that causes boredom."

"Be prepared to have very little training, if any. Hours are crazy and sometimes there are none at all."

"They are very bad at training their employees. There is not much direction on your day to day, leaving you feeling a little lost at times. They lack loyalty to their employees."

"I would increase the avenues for communication. I would be more honest and fair to the employees. I would utilize the employees I have before hiring more."

"Smile and be very courteous. Kohl's likes those who can smile even though there is a frown inside."

"The least favorite would be not being able to assist a customer."

"I was hired on the spot for a seasonal position."

"Management doesn't seem to have it totally together. I was told I was being kept after the seasonal period ended, but at the last minute they said they weren't keeping me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get more scheduling/office staff. That way it's easier for the office to stay organized and up to date so that they won't be telling people false information, like they're going to hire you permanently and then last minute tell you otherwise."

"I had a 4 star review and a 12 cent raise after a year of service. I had 2 teenage sons at home and asked them not to schedule me more than 2 nights a week, and they gave me 4 nights a week. Bad management."
