"The company is not worth working for. Over a four-month period, they failed to pay detention pay, layover pay, and bonus pay and shorted me my weekly pay on a regular basis. The company is not honest and ignores attempts to rectify the poor performance of the driver manager."

"As a place to work it was decent, but the management do not take care of the employees well. At Christmas time your bonus is only a small gift card, but managers got huge bonuses. If you were willing to lie, and cheat you were going to move up in the business, if not you were stuck at the bottom."

"If you have any other choice go there over Knight. I don't even know where to begin with how bad it is. They lie, cheat and steal and then tell you to be a team player if you try to speak up. The miles are hit and miss, the pay is extremely low compared to most companies. I have been here 6 months and am ready to move on. I would have left after one month but I wanted to give them a chance. They tout their 5 cent per mile bonus but will create ways to not give it to you."

"There wast nothing I liked about working for Knight. Mangement was nit-picky but themselves were unproductive. Did not care about anything but who is stabbing them in the back and who they can stab in the back."

"You have to be in touch with the needs of those who are on the front lines. For example, I would like to know where I can find a empty trailer please"

"acidents do happen and there is no reason to take it out on the driver for being hurt in the acident and to ruin his driving carear."

"They given me a new truck. I had a good dispatcher. The recuiters were good to me. No wait on getting loaded. The drivers were all good to me. The trailers were in good condition. The mechanics know what they were doing."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just beware if something goes wrong (acident, etc.) They will ruin your life as a truck driver. Rember they don't like truck drivers. They will go right to your dac report."

What don't you like about working at Knight Transportation?

"If you get in an acident and its not your fault,forget about collecting work comp.. It makes them very angry! Not only that you don't get your job back, they also put the acident on your dac report, So as far as working for another company, you can just forget it. Who's going to hire you with that on your record! Iam going to fight it all the way. I had a clean record, until this happen. Watch out drivers, knight is all for themselfs. All because I filed for work comp. and never got it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Some of the people there (tulare/arizona) don't like truck drivers. First they tell you to go back driving for us and two days later they call and say your fired. All because I filed work comp.. I enjoyed working for knight at the time, and then they turned on me and said all you truckers are the same. well they ruined my livelihood, In which I will fix. We truckers try to do our best,but things just happen. My dac report is all I care about, I still want to drive."

"If you are desperate for money then work for them if you have to. If you don't then stay far away."

What don't you like about working at Knight Transportation?

"Knight's management was terrible. The head division manager would do drugs on the job and then take his problems out on you."
