"I loved the opportunity for professional growth, and the great group of people who worked there. There were always opportunities for advancement."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Go in asking very high for salary, and be flexible because employee turn over is very high ."

What don't you like about working at Kingwood Pines Hospital?

"The salary range is low, and when the census plumits and it will, you have to flex off, and are forced to take your PTO which is the same as your sick time, so you could be left with no time off if you were to get sick. I hade to take every bit of mine, it wipes out any chance for vacation or sick time compensation. I would have liked to have had the option to take the time off with out pay."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Well the real management is PSI....suggestions not welcome there. THe DON is a great person and is great to her nursing staff. Some of the other management could use a class in management and motivating employees, as well as an ethics class that deals with harrasment of employees."
