"Was laid back. Hard to get fired. Most people just puttered along and did the bare minimum. 90 percent of the work was just busy-work and TPS reports- we'd spend like 20 hours writing up a business case for 10 minutes of work and then 5 hours justifying the billable hours."

"It's a retirement home for old programmers. Avoid it."

What don't you like about working at Keane?

"It was a low energy workplace. The laid back atmosphere attracted slackers and unambitious types. All the talented employees distinguished themselves by leaving for better paying jobs. Myself included."

"None really. It was a great business model so long as the clients stay stupid. Most of the employees were just seat warmers to jack up the billable rate."

"Don't relly too heavily on outsourcing offshore to Keane India. A person here with 25+ years experience is worth more than a novice offshore employee with only a few years experience"
