"The move toward tiny cubicles and a bull pen mentality is the main reason I left Chase. In my field as a software developer, many of us are introverted, and the chaos of working in small cubes with low walls is draining. The ability to work from home is very rare, and viewed negatively by Sr. Management, while at the same time the office space is redesigned with smaller and smaller cubicles because they are running out of space. It makes no sense at all."

"I’ve worked at JPMorgan since 2014. It’s very hard to move up especially internally but there are a lot of opportunities to move around laterally. The compensation really isn’t great when you’re working in operations."

"I’ve worked for J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. for about 3 years. During my time I learned a lot of new lessons and practices that would better arm me for onboarding, collaborating and developing cross departmental relationships better."

"Chase is a well-paying institution that does support its employees. Depending on the role life balance is very hard to achieve. There are lateral moves that can be obtained within the company. It is over-regulated and this takes away from employee experience. There also tends to be too many active initiatives all in place at the same time. Hard to manage for the average person."

"I've worked for Chase on and off several times, and the role of the Underwriter has significantly changed, and I would rather be employed in Colorado where I am happy and from. With Permanent Employment verses contract."

"This company is full of bureaucracy. While massive, they are going to get overtaken by more agile companies with more open and supportive cultures if they don’t adapt. In may already be too late. The company is full of mediocre and traditional mindsets that greatly inhibit their progress."
